Friday Night Lights makes Access’ Top 10 TV Campus Classics

Yep, that’s right, FNL made it to number 5! Have to say sadly I agree with the moment to forget, that storyline was just not constructed as well as it could have been… Read the rest of this entry →

news: connie talks about adrianne

Connie sat down with Buzzsugar for a short moment at the TCA event and talked about her character, the relationship with Julie and her feelings about Adrianne.

On Adrianne Palicki, whose character became a big part of Tami’s life: “I’m going to miss her a lot. She is going to be shooting Red Dawn the exact same period of time that we’re shooting, but [the writers] do intend to have her come back in season five. So she will get her good-bye arc, but we’re not going to get her this season.”

news: Connie in a clip of Women In Trouble

Adrianne isn’t in this clip but Connie is. Please be advised this clip does contain adult content!

news: Matt Lauria joins FNL

Matt Lauria, was in Lipstick Jungle, joins FNL playing Luke. His description? The article quotes, ‘charming yet cocky junior who reluctantly finds himself playing for Coach Taylor’s East Dillon squad’. He’s one of four new characters being added to the show.

People are already comparing him, saying he may just be the new Tim Riggins. Now, I’m gonna say this in the nicest way possible. There will never be another Tim Riggins okay? He can act like Tim, but he won’t be Tim. That’s just the way things go ladies and gentlemen. Will the show be able to hold onto it’s place in our hearts even with old characters leaving? Should they have ended the show while they were ahead? Guess we’ll find out in season four.

news: Legion Red Band Trailer released

Adrianne’s new movie, Legion has released the red band trailer and I have to say it looks AMAZING. Adrianne plays a pregnant woman with a troubled past and has angels coming to kill her and her child. Who’s there to protect her? Paul Bettany as Michael. I can’t wait to see this movie. Trailer behind the cut.

news: Feuding East Dillon members.

Two members have been cast to be the feuding members of East Dillon according to EW

Friday Night Lights have cast Matt Lauria and Michael B. Jordan to play two new characters when the show returns to DirecTV in October, and to NBC in the summer.

And yes, as an aside, it’s pretty funny that both actors’ names are similar to two other celebrities. Yep, Michael Jordan and… Matt Lauer. He counts, right?

Anyway, both will play those two feuding members of the new East Dillon squad, according to Entertainment Weekly’s Michael Ausiello. Matt, who came off the just-cancelled Lipstick Jungle as Lindsay Price’s gay assistant, will play Luke, a pretty cocky yet charming junior who finds himself playing for Coach Taylor despite his reluctance.

gallery: Season 1 caps and promos

I have uploaded episodes 5-13 of season 1 and added some lovely promos for season 1 to the gallery. I’ve also added the high res picture of Connie’s upcoming movie, A Nightmare on Elm Street.

I will continue to work on the gallery slowly as sorting caps is giving me a headache right now

news: Nightmare on Elm Street pushed back.

For those waiting to see Connie in the remake of NOES, you’ll have to wait just a little bit longer. According to iconsoffright.com, the date has been pushed back to April 30th instead of the 16th. Here’s the snippet

The release date for the highly anticipated Platinum Dunes reboot of A Nightmare On Elm Street has shifted from it’s original April 16th, 2010 release date now to April 30th, 2010. Shock Till You Drop spoke to producer Brad Fuller about the 2 week push back. Here’s what he had to say: “We’re all alone on that weekend. There were two other movies on the 16th. The 30th we’re all alone and that takes us into May.” Shock points out however, that one week after Nightmare’s new proposed release date, Iron Man 2 hits theaters. (Then again, Friday The 13th only lasted it’s first week before making a record drop.)

Also, the website for the movie has been launched! Make sure to visit the official Nightmare on Elm Street website. Right now there’s only the poster and the synopsis up, but I look forward to more being there.
